Photo Gallery: Trans-Am Mustangs of the 2011 Monterey Motorsports Reunion

This past weekend hundreds of vintage racers gathered from around the world at Laguna Seca for the annual Monterey Motorsports Reunion. The event features no less than 17 race groups ranging from Pre-1940 cars to FIA and IMSA GTP cars of the 1980s. Our favorite group by far, though, is the 1966-1971 Trans-Am class. The reason of course, is the multitude of Ford Mustangs – no less than than a dozen competed in Saturday’s race. Many are Boss 302 models from 1969 and 1970, but a few 1966 to 1968 models were in attendance as well.



We were lucky enough to be in attendance at this year’s Motorsports Reunion, and we made sure to come away with plenty of photos. You can see all of the Trans-Am Mustangs from this year’s Monterey Motorsports Reunion in the gallery below.
