Creations n’ Chrome previews Coyote-powered Fox Body Mustang that will debut at SEMA
Source: www.MustangsDaily.com

For the last few years Creations n’ Chrome has had the philosophy of ‘Go Big or Go Home’ at SEMA with their chrome-clad Mustangs. Their first project, “Pony Girl”, was definitely an eye-catcher, and last year’s “Boy Racer” was even more impressive. Now the folks at CnC are already cooking up their next Mustang for this year’s SEMA and have given us an exclusive first look at the car.

While the company’s first two projects were S197 Mustangs, Creations n’ Chrome will be going back more than two decades for this year’s project. The base car is a 1991 Mustang Notchback, although by the time CnC is done with it we’re guessing not much of the original car will remain. Like their previous projects Creations n’ Chrome will apply a custom Spectra Chrome paint like only they can do, and company owner Gary Watson tells us that the unique blue color will be a little bit brighter than the Blue Angels Mustang that they built for Ford this past summer.

Like Boy Racer, though, this Mustang won’t be just about show. “Our goal is 2400lbs and 700hp,” Watson tells us. To achieve that CnC will start by swapping out the current motor for a supercharged Coyote 5.0-liter V8. The chassis has been completely race-prepped by JME Enterprises with a billet cantilever SLA suspension up front and a billet 3-link rear suspension and 8.8-inch axle with 9-inch internals at the rear. Finally, a set of HRE 18-inch 505 Vintage Series wheels will be installed at all four corners under the widened fenders.

The Creations n’ Chrome Fox Body Mustang will make its debut in the Spectra Chrome booth in Central Hall at the 2012 SEMA Show.

Anyone blow it up and notice that the front rims are in the back of the car and the back rims are on the front of the car oh and look at the wipers.

Color is going to be sick.
