Very nice packages, even though the stage 3 625 hp kit is kind pricey considering that you are gonna have to take rebuild the motor and have it installed by a ford tech, and they aren't at all cheap... the install alone with tuning would be pushing 4k and this isn't with the re and re of the motor and the motor rebuild...  That is looking at a $22,000 bill for that kit plus other parts that will be needed... like a clutch and a new trans/rear end when you blow the others up from that power level....  But you know... you gotta pay to play...lol :D

Great point! The other necessary required supporting build up makes an already super expensive mod possibly unaffordable by most. But maybe that the idea, that this is only for the super hardcore builds? My fear there is that that market is currently pretty well either taken by liquid cooled KB's & Whipples or where most would veer towards big turbo & twin turbo set-ups.

I am sure the Roush products are awesome, as they seem to do there homework.... and I wouldn't really consider myself hardcore either but I have spent some coin on my car, more than I would like to admit this winter and spring...lol  But I am still not near what a kit like that with all the supporting mods and work for it would cost.  I did paint, new aluminum forged engine, new heads and cams, DFX clutch,  new rearend, gauges, Heat exchanger and so on and so on... lol  I just think that if you do your homework and figure out what you need/want you can get a lot more bang for your buck.... and I am still under or around the 15k mark for everything I have done to mine this winter...lol

I do like the turbos though... but they take a lot of work as well... they are coming around for our type of vehicle though...Lot's of options out there if people are willing to look, just seems like Roush may have priced themselves out of the market for their kit that competes with KB, Whipple and some of teh turbo kits that go for less even with the price of a forged shortblock nowadays...
