I had no idea slicks were street legal! I have tons sitting around here from the race car....

They aren't DOT legal but I don't care.

Marc you are now not invited to any of our cruises, that car is a race car and I hear you can drive the pants off of it!
I want a car so violent that the mere thought of full throttle would cause a heart attack. That actually going wide open throttle in would result in nothing less than instant death!

What!! It has current tabs and insurance still. Heck, I drove it home last Friday night and drove it to work on Monday morning in traffic. Over the weekend, I only got pulled over three times.

Only because you would arrive at the cruise destination two hours before any of us did!

The 295/680/18 tires and 18x10 wheels fit great on the front.

Is that new wing on the back? or just something on the wall that looks very much like a wing?

Yep. Due to the ricer thing, I has hesitant to put a wing on it. I think the car has the looks and it certainly has the requirements to pull it off. I was having stability and cornering traction issues at speeds over 170 MPH. Also, under high speed braking, the tail end was very unstable. The S197 chassis has considerable lift and you can really feel it once you reach 160mph. The wing was expensive, but it was wind tunnel developed for the S197 chassis. I have it set for 385lbs of downforce at 120 MPH and 525lbs at 190 MPH. This is the same wing that was developed for the FR500S but they lost the contract at the 11th hour.

Anyway, I hope my high speed stability issues are over.

I like that wing, you need it since you have a proper racing car there.  If someone says it's "riced out" or something, they just don't know what they are talking about .

I am with everyone else on this Marc S. The wing is needed and functional on your Stang but on that slammed 1998 Honda Accord not so much. LOL
