I have a few more mods that need to be done to my convertible,brakes,roll bar etc.....But I think it is time to start hitting Copart for a theft recovery 11 up GT coupe to build a track rat out of,or a totaled wadded up 5.0 GT and a 05-09 coupe and do a complete swap.

The "body in white " idea is good,but going the other route means I have a car with a VIN,that can be inspected and plated so it is legal for road use.Having a rebuilt title doesn't really bother me,I already know the money will be spent and gone,it would be a little easier to sell when I want to replace it.

Picked the car up this afternoon from the shop doing the gears and diff...

Good news: It does feel very positive and 2nd gear is much more usable and 3rd gear is gonna be the FTW gear !!!

Bad news: I have to take it back first thing in the AM cuz there is a crazy bearing like noise. Not gear whir, but a super high pitch sound under load. Like an axle bearing or really bad wheel bearing noise. Anyway not good.

My car does have a Griggs Racing torque arm, which is awesome but also works like a giant tuning fork for rear-end noise. Between that and the horrible high pitch sound, it was a LONG drive home

Picked up my suspension today for the L and in typical fashion, I couldn't wait to install my mods.
I dont have the rear shackles yet(need stock ones) so i only did the front.  It ended up raising the front end about 1.25-1.5" which leveled the truck out nicely.  The rear setup should stay as is.  The best part is, my truck fits in the garage now without having to drive up god damn ramps anymore.

What temp are they? If they're 5000K I might take them...Although I've been waiting to have RtB make me some too since he did for my last car.

I bought some projector headlights for the Boss Gal's New Edge, and they came with a HID kit. I decided to not use that kit and instead buy a dual HID kit from RPM Member "Racingtheburg" who also supplied the kit I have in the 07 RPM Mustang.
