Germeezy, that is a very tough question. If you were to buy and modify an 11 or 12 GT500,would you be money and car ahead of the 13,or if you buy the 13,will the 2015 be that much better ? In the long run,I think I would do the 13 GT500,leave it alone untill the 15's hit the ground, then mod the 13 or sell and upgrade.Tomorrow,I am sure I will have a different idea.

Well to be honest the 2011 with a TVS supercharger will make more power than the 2013 will have, and with the savings you can do a GR40 kit and be able to actually put down the extra power.
I want a car so violent that the mere thought of full throttle would cause a heart attack. That actually going wide open throttle in would result in nothing less than instant death!

G,if I follow your line of thought,I could keep the GT conv. and add a 11 GT500,wait a year and start the mods. This hole I am digging is just getting deeper by the day !

Or you could do a built 5.0 Livernois stroker in your Vert with a Whipple 2.3 and about 550 rwhp with a GR40 kit.

Why stop at a 5.0 stroker, how about 5.3 or 5.4,but the convert.needs to stay naturally aspirated.

Our Mustang club President has a 2008 GT500 with a TVS and his car puts down 645 HP to the feet and it is not even breaking a sweat. 650 Flywheel HP for the 2013 is very conservative with lots of room to grow.

The problem is the PMR's (powder metal forged rods), as they will still only hold relatively the same as far as cylinder pressure goes. The 5.8 Condor will make more power under the curve, but I don't see them being capable of much more than 800 rwhp with the PMR's. I love the 5.8 Condor but I think that a soon to come RPM project will highlight the limitations of the stock GT500 chassis.

Oh yes, there are indeed limits and there are dyno explosions all over YouTube. My Hammer with the forged internals has it's limits too as I am well aware. I think my block would go before anything else lets go though.
