Big step closer, thanks to Hutch, and Kelcy Deliveries Inc.

I basically need to start laying everything out and get moving on the install.

I know I still need a serpentine belt, not sure on the length yet.
I may need an adapter for the oil sending line

Gauge pod would be nice but not necessary for the build

Does anyone know if I get a tune, can I run the focus pump, 39# injectors and Tr6 plugs before the supercharger install?

You would not want to, all of those mods are for the purpose of adding boost.

The end goal is adding boost, but I was trying to get some of the more labor intensive portions out of the way before installing the SC.

Ideally I would install those parts on a Monday and the SC the following Monday

What I mean is that, the extra fueling commanded by a S/C tune and the colder plugs will make driveability much worse....so unless you get one tune to run those N/A and then follow it up with a S/C tune it may not make the car very driveable.

I have a hookup for tunes, so tunes shouldnt be a big deal.
it's if the car would run with the added fuel.

Come to think of it, the tune will most likely increase fueling in the mid ranges and at higher revs. If you drive it conservatively it should be fine , even though it might run a little funny with the extra fuel and colder plugs when it is cold.

hmmm.

I was considering that style or going with a radio delete/single din replacement and put them down there.

That style makes the important things easier to look at and in your field of vision, do you plan to run a wideband 02 sensor and gauge Jeff?

I want that Fuel gauge... now back to tune and mods on the 99-04 SOHC 4.6 you do not want to do a tune for fuel unless you add 2 easy parts, the Lightning 90mm MAF sensor and a new upper plenum. to much fuel without the air will cause a fat burn and gum um stuff and you will run into issues after the S/C install. My recommended build up parts would be, Gears 3:55 or higher I say go 3:73, then exhaust, f=do your headers and a cat less x pipe (you will melt your cats with a good tune and a S/C) then next is your Air intake fixes, get the 90mm MAF (ebay dirt cheap) your upper plenum and throttle body, then get a 5.0 fox body AIT sensor (Air intake temp) and relocate it there are several how to's on how to wire this in (reason for this is that you want it to sample closest to the Throttle body for best tune) there you go a full list of weekend fun... then after all that run your new pump and injectors because you will have the proper Air/fuel ratio (or close to it) coming in.

Always remember you need air to burn fuel, and spark to ignite it. you will need to run a hotter plug as well while you are N/A to keep the plugs clean and not wet.

only problem I see is its a 3.8 not a 4.6...

There shouldn't be a shortage of air once all the parts on the shelf are installed.

The colder plugs are an issue though when your running N/A, but I think you should be good for a week or so if you stay out of it.

Well I know that you're building for your Vortech but if you end up wanting 3.73's in the rear, PM me, I have an unused set sitting here at my house and I won't be able to afford to use them myself for a while.

With one distraction after another it looks like I will be starting on this build again.

The wife is leaving for Florida in the middle of January for a week so I can have the car out of commission and still make it to work. I will be working on it: January 16th- all day 19-20th in the evenings and hopefully finishing it up on the 21st.

If anyone has any expertise and wants to lend a hand let me know. I'm going to try mocking everything up and getting the parts I know I will need here before then.

Does anyone know, do I need any specialty tools for the AC or to install the fuel pump?
