OK, since I'm extremely bored this morning due to it being way to windy for me to think about going fishing this morning..... Cobra no more... Here is the new ride... stock except one small mod right now.   Not staying that stock for long.

So, I have had the Cobra for I guess almost 4 years... and almost from day one I had had some problems, from alts going down, to fuel system not working quite right, to the meth system springing leaks... rear end grinding and chunking...(on third rear end now and this one still needs to be fixed another story for another time) bad tunes, BAP issues... and oh yeah... a new motor..(Aluminator) then worries about the new motor about 3000kms after it went in due to the previously mentioned bad tunes..shops blaming other shops... blah blah yadda yadda... it's been way more frustrating times then good times.

 So in the last couple months, now that everything has been worked out, finally threw time and way to friggen much money I have been thinking about selling it and just getting a new 5.0 do some springs, wheels and appearance mods and perhaps be done with it.  Have warranty, now more car frustration for a while.

BUT.... I picked the car up last week from the guy that has been helping me fix all the crap leftover from the last place, got a couple suspension things done, and finally worked out all the fuel system issues, added new bigger pumps to compliment the rest of the crap in there.  Well, he did a full retune on the car so I was excited to go pick it up.  But, the roads were less than great on the way home so I didn't really get to play at all.  The car felt good tho... Well, the last couple days the weather was pretty damn good.  I got to drive the thing, corner it, and roll out against a new Camaro and then a Vette.  That was fun, they weren't that happy get rolled by a car waving bye bye with the top down.  Car feels better than it has since I have owned it and pulls crazy hard once I got used to rollin out on the throttle, no chance at traction with just mashing the peddle...lol 

 Anyhow, guess I'm sayin that the car put 2 days worth of smiles on my face, something it hadn't done for a very long time.  Think I have fallen in love with it again... feels like I finally have the perfect car for me.  :beer:

Well I know the timing of this is bad, but I have been in discussion for a couple weeks with a guy in the states about the Cobra.  At first I didn't think he was serious, so I just answered his questions and sent pics and just played along.  Every time I sent a message back, I downplayed the car and expected not to hear back from him.  But he kept coming back and made an offer.

Well rolled the fenders this morning, and the weather was staying real nice and dry for me for the first time in weeks it seems... so I pulled the car out of the garage and set out to get rid of the cobwebs.  Here's a few pics, and the first decent ones since I got the new Chicanes on there.  Thanks again Steve, I love em.

Just curious who would be the go to shop for dyno tuning in thee Washington Seattle area?  Any suggestions for those north of the border who may be shopping around to find the right place for their needs?

Heading into the shop tomorrow to finish off a few things for the last couple shows of the year, and if we get that done early enough we might strap the car down again and check the tune for the upcoming road trip to Spokane.  Made 582RWHP and 517RWTQ last time it was on there...Might shoot for 600 and I can have a new dyno sheet to laminate for the last couple shows....lol  You think it'll make it?

2.1 KB,  newest revised Aluminator longblock, Full fuel system with dual GT Ford GT pumps, 2 FPDMS, Dual wiring harness upgrade, 60 lb injectors, JLT Carbon RAI and a Killer chiller that may or may not be used....lol

275/35/18 They are in great shape and have 80+ percent left.  Looking for $400 obo for the pair.  They sell for around $500ish each new.  PM me in interested.
