Sweet little car bwkelley and I do the pay it forward thing quite often myself. I try and help those in need and less fortunate than myself and when they offer to reciprocate I just tell them to help the next guy or gal when they get on their feet. It feels really good to help others out and do positive things, great job !

I would love to own a Apollo White 1970 Buick GSX Stage 1, my favorite Buick. Thanks for the pics fprgottenpony, a trip down memory lane for sure. :)

Dealerships call it different things and my favorite is after looking at the Ford sticker on a 2008 GT500, just below it on the window read "added value". What the heck is that ? I was close to buying a GT500 not too long after they came out and wanted one very bad but I waited a while to let the blood in the water dissipate somewhat and then still came across the "added value" under the window sticker. I told the salesman who was trying very hard to get me to buy it that he and his dealership were crazy and I would pay no more for a car than Ford said it was worth. Greed is all it was and as the Good Book says, "this too shall pass". You can get Boss Mustangs and even the Laguna Seca at sticker now and the 2013 GT500 will be the same way but in the beginning the dealers will want 10-20K above sticker so if you can wait a bit the prices will come back to earth.

I am old enough to remember when you could buy a really nice house for 70-80K. My first house cost $39,900 and it was nice just kind of small. Now the housing market is on the decline and cars keep going up, up, up. Mine and my wife's new 2012 RS3 with automatic cost over 64K so I am guessing around that for a fully loaded 2013 GT500.

Fabulous work Marc S, that is one awesome cage sir.

The 2013 GT500 I like, in fact what's not to like with 650 HP on tap and gorgeous looks. The V6 and GT not so much. It looks to me as though they are trying too hard to look like their big brother. They look too much alike for my taste. Thanks for the pics Boss Man.

Funny how the times have changed. We actually had to go get film developed back then, how horrible. LOL Now film manufacturers and developers have just about gone the way of the buggy whip makers. I am thrilled with the new technology and all but sometimes I miss the good old days when things were much simpler. Thanks forgottenpony. :)

I have had sooooo many muscle cars that I would love to still own but when I owned them they were nothing special, well not that special anyway, unlike today. I got rid of the last two, the AMX and the Rebel Machine, in the early 90's when I moved to Mustangs. You just couldn't find any parts for any of the odd stuff and I loved to race and was constantly tearing stuff up and keeping them together was becoming a big problem. I have owned Mustangs ever since but at one time I ran Oldsmobiles and had a 1970 422 with a 455 that ran VERY good . I also had a couple of GTOs, a 1970 Javelin SST with ram air and a 360 and several other interesting cars from back in the day. Those were the days when at worst we would just get run off by the Police for street racing, now you go to jail and lose your license for a looooong time and maybe even lose you car depending on the judge.

Excellent observation forgottenpony. I was a big AMC nut back in the day and had a bunch of them over the years. My favorites were my 1970 red AMX with the 390 of course and my 1970 red, white and blue Rebel Machine. I loved them and liked being different when owning a Camaro was almost mandatory in order to be cool. I thought that hood scoop looked familiar and it looks great on the II sir. My AMX was ram air and like you said it worked great. I did like my Rebel with the ram air and the tach out on the hood too.

The Marauder was pretty cool but like you said germeezy1, Ford has no large RWD vehicles that interest me. I am not a Expedition kind of guy.
