Kruise For Kids 2013

Kruise For Kids 2013

To the point, the event is geared to raise money for Seattle Children's Hospital. We toyed with the idea of having some kind of car "show", complete with trophies and dash plaques, but realized that not only do those things take money from the bottom line, but the event isn't a "who has the nicest car" event. Instead the event will be more of a get-together of auto enthusiasts with the goal in mind, raise money for the kids.

The video above really sums it up. These children, even with the hurdles they have to cross, maintain an outlook that many of us can learn from. In fact, we challenge you. Go to google and search images of Seattle Children's Hospital. Look at all of the smiles. Let's face it, we all enjoy our hobby and the times where we can get together, but this is an opportunity to show the kindness and generosity of our community. This has been in the works for over a year, and without the help of you, wouldn't be possible. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU !!!

EVENT OVERVIEW

WHEN: August 4, 2013
WHERE: GRIOT'S GARAGE
3333 South 38th St
Tacoma, WA 98409

Raffle items that have been donated by vendors will be available at the event, with all proceeds going to Seattle Children's Hospital. There will not be dash plaques or trophies at the event, as the money to provide these items will also going to Seattle Children's Hospital.

Second, Enjoying the company of others, and the hobby we all love.

The event is scheduled as follows: 7:30 AM - Gates Open 9:00 AM - Begin Raffles, Donations & Get Together 11:00 AM - Announce Raffle Winners 11:30 AM - Cruise Debriefing 12:00 PM - ??? (Cruise Length and Destination TBD)

Though the event was started and organized by Ford Mustang enthusiasts, the event shall be open to all make and model vehicles. By attending the event, you have chosen to respect the property of our host and be mindful of others on the road.

REGISTRATION
Though there will be no fee for registration, it is important that we keep track of the amount of cars attending, as our host (Griot's Garage) can accomodate 250 cars maximum. This is an amazing event, and one that everyone should participate with that can.
I want a car so violent that the mere thought of full throttle would cause a heart attack. That actually going wide open throttle in would result in nothing less than instant death!

Germaine,  I will still be deployed when this happens, but If you'd like, the L is yours to take to it.

I am not sure I am qualified to drive something with so much torque! Also you, I , and your truck have a session with a local backroad planned when you get back.

When do you get back, and did you forget what state you live in? I bet we will get better weather when you get back than now!
